DESCRIPTION
The UT C LR1801 op erate from a + 2V ~ +6V input supp ly as
fast ultra lo w-dropout linear r egulators. Wide output voltag e rang e
options are availa ble. T he fa st response characteristic to make
UTC LR1801 suitable for l ow voltage micr oprocessor a pplication.
The lo w q uiescent current oper ation an d lo w dr opout quali ty
caused by the CMOS process.
The U TC LR1801 has ultra lo w dropo ut voltag e
300mV at 1A load current typically. T he groun d pin cu rrent is
typically 60uA at 1mA load current.
Output Voltag e Precisio n: Mult iple outp ut voltag e optio ns are
available and ranging from 1.2V ~ 3.5V at room temperature with a
guaranteed accuracy of ±1.5%, and ±3.0% when varying line, load
and temperature.

TYPICAL APPLICATION CIRCUIT
CMOS IC
(1) ON/OFF pins must be pulled high through a 10kΩ pull-up resistor.
(2) Generally a series regulator may cause oscillation, depending on the selection of external parts. The following
conditions are recommended for this IC. However, be sure to perform sufficient evaluation under the actual
usage conditions for selection, including evaluation of temperature characteristics.
Input capacitor (CIN): 2.2 μF or more
Output capacitor (CL): 2.2 μF or more
